I dont remember how thick the CAS front mount core was, however ours is a full four inch core. In addition, no disrespect to CAS, our units are fabricated and ready to ship so you won't have to wait six months for your product.

Do you have any pics of the core by itself? I would like to see the construction of the core itself ie: the tubes.
