200-4R SFI trans shield for 10's and faster

For any guys running 10's and faster with the 200-4R and using a trans blanket to comply with track rules now, you will have an option - a SFI certfied metal shield! Local racers have asked us for such an item as only TH400 and TH350 shields have been available.

We are presently finishing the first protype unit on a trans and just need to proof it in a GN to verify details.

The blankets are very hard to R&R, hold excessive heat and retain oil from the engine and trans.

Once the shield is installed on the trans, in the car or off, it just stays there. No tedious straps and fitment to present a problem.

Cost, with all necessary mounting hardware, should be comparable with a blanket. They should be ready to ship in 2-3 weeks.

I'm interested. Keep us posted. Better yet, send one to Len and we can test fit on my car.

Are these still available? Does the SFI rating expire like the kevlar shields do? How much? I need one before Bowling Green.
