Im doing this on my motor now the grooves are inconsistent all the way around the groove .Some places .008 some at.012 . So my engine builder suggested he would have to deck off atleast .012 to ture them up , but i figure it'll bump up my C P ratio which will give me a lil more bottom end so i'm not to concerned .Im not sure about rjc gaskets ,but i know cometic gaskets do offer different gasket thicknesses incase you would like to throw off the effects of decking the heads>
