'86-87 GN 3.8i 109 block casting for 10's, TA block, Stage 1, or Stage 2 for faster than that to do it reliably. Going to a Stage motor will cost easily $15K to do it right using some used parts in the mix... probably closer to $25K when headers/turbos/intercooler/downpipes/oiling system/and fuel management is added into the mix.

Stage 1 and 2 blocks/cranks and other parts are no longer made and command big $$$'s by collectors/enthusiasts. Unless you plan to run 9's or faster and have some big cash laying around you should stick with a built stock based motor.

There is a Stage 2 forum section in here you know! I would look in there.

What budget do you have? How fast do you want to go?

The FWD 3.8 blocks aren't interchangeable BTW.
