3800 supercharged bonnieville....

A friend asked me what is the best way to go in the area of tuning his car. He has done the normal mods (intake, 1.9 rocker arms, had the computer reprogrammed) but he is a lil mad that the car is slower after having it tuned by a shop in Michigan. Is there a compatible engine management that will give him a measure of tunability at the track, or is he forced to run it the way it is? Hes not comkputer savy enough to navigate around on a Fast XFI or anything that complicated but I was thinking there has to be something out there that will work.
