Exclamation Shock change. Don't make this mistake.

I changed to Bilsteins the other day. When tightening the bottom bolts on the fronts, I used an air wrench. Needless to say, it exploded the clips that serve as the nuts. Now the bolts were spinning freely inside the shocks, and I couldn't get them either in or out. It is too tight to get pliers or any other tool on them. I ended up having to cut the bolt heads off with a die grinder. Went to the dealer, and luckily he found some replacement clips, which were much more solid than the originals. Go figure.
The Bilsteins were the right answer. Firm ride, excellent handling.
