You all need to remember the mentality of these extremists. Diplomacy will do nothing but enable and encourage the enemy to grow stronger. Look what happened in Vietnam. Bomb them, then stop to talk so the enemy can rebuild its forces and plan the next big attack. They attack and we smack them with another bombing campaign, then stop to talk again so they can have a chance to organize again. Diplomacy was the major weakness of the American people during that conflict.

You are 100% correct. Just prepare yourself. There is going to be an onslaught of people on here dismissing what you say as not relevant. They forget or do not want to hear that we should look to history for our answers.
