As a side note........Be SURE to remove the throttle blade screws and re-install them with RED loctite. They have been known to come loose.  I also stake the screws in place, too. I clamped a 10" long 3/4" shaft in the vise, and then placed the blade screw heads (one at a time) on the smooth shaft end. Then I used a center punch and taped it with a hammer to stake the center of the threaded end of the screw. That way they can NEVER fall out, even if the screws come loose a little. One of those little screws can really mess up your day.

Thanks for the info. I have some extra 3" hose laying around that I will try to make work. I'll be sure to loc-tite the screws, too.
