You have a plug on the car behind the coolant tank.. the factory one. That one has the correct orientation. You can use that as a reference.

Wiring issues are one thing. Wiring issues on a 20 year old car are another. Wiring issues on a 20 year old modified ar with afermarket "stuff".. there you go.

You may have a bad 3 bar sensor.. but before you can assumme this.. you have to make sure the wires on the plug are in fact oriented in the correct location. And that the sensor is a 3 bar.

If you have a stock GN laying around.. plug the 3 bar into it.. and measure the center wire on the 3 prong plug=green wire=1.6 key on.

I can put my Hand in Fire that the problem lies with the Casper`s BAR Adapter. If I was to put the 3 bar under the Dash then it would be working perfectly. The Feeds are in the proper places. I will contact John at Casper`s.
I think from now. The problem will have to be solved with him.
