Scenario.. your 3 bar loses ground on the black wire.. if so the green will measure 5 volts DC as it loss it reference. In that case.. my controller see's 5 volts and thinks your at 30 PSI boost.
There always is the chance the controller can have an issue. While they have been virtualy bullet proof as reliable.. there is always the chance. If its electronic.. it can fail. But before we get ahead.. lets do some basic troubleshooting and confirm the MAP voltage is at 1.6 Key ON.
