A JS style IC setup is easier and cheaper and with the right
upper plenum, it will flow the same as a stock
86/87 intake/plenum. I have had a modified PTE
upper plenum flow checked against other plenums
and there is no flow difference between them.
Just use an 86/87 lower intake and modify a
PTE/stock/other upper plenum and it will work
just fine. Just IMHO.
