Hey painters I need some help. I am almost finished with mt t-top repairs and I need to get some primer and paint. The car was painted with deltron base /clear about 4 years ago. I had to strip the roof down to the metal because of the melted paint and it had some crows feet going on. I know I need a self etching primer or epoxy primer to go down on the bare metal. Carquest paint store has what is called "wash primer". They say that it is self etching. I was so confused at all the stuff in the store I didnt buy anything. Can anyone help me out with the specific products I will need to get some paint back on this car. Primers,sealers, reducers catalysts and so forth. I've done some spraying before and it turned out good, I just dont know how to mix what!!
