Yes run the street chip. Fueling is practically the same as the alky chip.

Your boost is controlled by the wastegate tension and bleeding done by the GM solenoid on the valvecover. So the chip plays with boost a little, but if you need more boost.. you have to crank the wastegate rod shortening it.

The alky kit provides the octane needed to run higher boost. But you need to set this up. And on stock actuators, your typically limited to about 20 PSI before you need a HD version. But you first worry about getting the car to run 20 PSI before worrying about 25 PSI
