I have a Drag chip that says I believe 108 on it and I am running 91 and a quart of 108 from Pep Boys. Last night got 14 for knock, with just a boost for about 2-3 seconds @ WOT. I know six is max, what other things can I look into, or do I need to just run 116 with that chip.

Richard:
Keep in mind that when an octane booster says that it raises your octane 10 points or so, a point is 1/10 of an octane, not 1 octane increase, so a can of that crap might raise your octane up 1 octane, not 10. As Neal says, that stuff and I do mean all of it is junk, leaves particles on your plugs, plugs up your cat and makes your No2 sensor virtually worthless. Drain your tank to as little as possible, go get some real 100 unleaded race gas, and your KR will probably go away alltogether. Watch out for the "race gas addiction", though. HTH
