I understand a stock cam will take you into the low 11s or better with the right setup. You have head work, a big turbo and lots of injector, try mild. Isn't that converter a hassle, or do you run it on the street much? My Kurtz red stripe is 12", only 2800 stall. TCC is messed up, and I miss the lockup. I'm totally street, the car never sees the strip. It's agravating to see all that slip in 4th. I guess emissions are not a factor for you, huh?
I'm leaning towards a roller (212-212) , I just don't want any problems with the swap
The converter I use works good on the street , at the track it flashes to around 4000 rpm at 8 #of boost and drops about 600 rpm between shifts i guess that's in line as far as slippage. I run mostly 1\8 mile (no rollbar)
I have had several people tell me the stock cam is holding down my mph ? As far as emmisons I have been lucky the last couple of years
