i put a 4.1 in with je pistons. i wouldn't say it revs faster, but keep in mind that the 4.1 has a larger bore and will pump more air than the 3.8, so the turbo wil push more air as well when reving the motor. unless you have an un-none piston i would not worry, sounds like you bought the parts and have the right piston. have fun with 4.1, love mine.
