I had this glove box door come with a G-body dash I bought a while ago to use in my GN restoration. The door needed some TLC, so I spent a while restoring it to nice condition. I cleaned the door and fasteners, and primed it with self-etching primer. I finished the door front and back with G-Body Parts acrylic interior paint, using number 1598 for the blue-gray Grand National colors. The color match was good in my opinion, but the paint does have a slightly glossier sheen than OEM. The last two pics show my original mint door on the top, and the repainted door for sale here on the bottom, for color/sheen comparison. The front side of the door has a small dent in it that is only noticeable if the light catches it just right. That is the only defect in door's sheetmetal. The two door bumpers are in place and in good condition. The door hinge works freely with no squeaks, and I refinished it in the gray as well, although they came satin black from the factory. I did recoat the door basket in satin black dye since the interior had a bit of rust stains and other discoloration. The basket had two broken tabs at the bottom corners, and I repaired them with JB Weld reinforced with extra plastic sheet as backing. The black dye hides these repairs. I cleaned the basket and lock fasteners, and clear-coated them. The latch mechanism is very nice, with its original plating, and the knob with its key is included. I will leave the knob/key assembly out of the latch just in case the purchaser wants to disassemble the door to change colors or apply a satin clear coat. The knob/tumbler assembly is easily installed with the key (lots of info on YouTube). Asking $100 shipped to your door in the lower 48 United States ... Thanks for looking!
