Sold my 87 GN a year or so ago due to health (aging) reasons and needless to say I really miss the rowdy little 6 banger. I owned it for 32 years. Hope to see it again someday.

Curious, why are you wanting to use vent line for fuel return line?? I've installed a DW400 which moves a lot of fuel when needed and I'm still using the stock return line. Richard Clark did test (somewhere on this site) that showed even with the 400 at max pressure the stock return line was...
Years ago there was a person that worked where the GNs were assembled. His name was Robert Carruth. He was very knowledgeable of the turbo regals, as well as helpful to anyone that ask. Haven't seen his name/post in several years. I hope he's doing well.

I removed the "Saginaw" restrictor at the hanger before I could get the fp to adjust downward. However, soon as weather permits I'm going to hookup the return to the vent line just to be on the safe side.
